Dr. David Abdun-Nur was born in Ventura, California and raised in Southern California. He attended USC obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Medical School was completed at USC. Dr. Abdun-Nur received his training in the specialty of Family Practice at Ventura County Medical Center, affiliated with UCLA. He is married to Katherine and they have four children. Dr. Abdun-Nur enjoys cycling, photography, backpacking, gardening, and cooking.
Dr. Barry Hamann was born in San Diego, California. He graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Dr. Hamann attended Loma Linda Medical School and interned at Kaiser Permanente in Fontana, California. He completed his Family Practice residency at Ventura County Medical Center, affiliated with UCLA. Dr. Hamann is married to Maritza and has two daughters and one son. He enjoys travel, woodworking, gardening, painting, scuba diving, and hiking.
Dr. Jason Pilcher was born in San Clemente, California, and was raised in Grants Pass. He graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He attended medical school at Texas A&M University and completed his family practice residency at Brazos Valley Family Medicine Residency in Bryan, Texas. Dr. Pilcher and his wife Beth have two children. He enjoys camping, rafting, playing sports, family vacations, and playing guitar. His father, James, is a dentist who still practices in Grants Pass.
Dr. Tamara Powell will be leaving Mountainview Family Practice in December 2019.
Dr. Tamara Powell was born in Ohio and raised in Virginia. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and attended medical school at the Medical College of Virginia. Her Family Practice residency was completed at the Lancaster General Hospital in Pennsylvania. Dr. Powell is married to William and has one son, Carrington, and a daughter, Madeleine. She enjoys church activities, hiking, camping and canoeing, reading, travel, and photography.
Dr. Richard Williams was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and attended the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology. He attended medical school at UC San Diego and completed his Family Practice residency at Stanislaus Medical Center in Modesto, California, affiliated with UC Davis. Dr. Williams and his wife Barbara have two sons, Zachary and Jonathan, and one daughter, Elizabeth. He enjoys fly fishing, camping, tennis, volleyball, church activities, and playing piano and guitar.
Sennie is the first Nurse Practitioner to join Mountainview family. She is trained and certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Sennie was born and raised in North Bend, a fifth generation Oregonian. She graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor's degree in Biology and received a master's of science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Sennie and her husband Randy have two children, Chris and Brynna.
Carol was born in Toronto, Canada. She moved to Texas to further her nursing career, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s of science in Nursing. She went on to receive her master’s of science in Nursing at Texas A&M. Carol worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Texas and New Mexico before moving to Oregon in 1999. She taught in the Nursing Department at Clovis Community College in New Mexico, and was President of the eastern chapter of the New Mexico Nursing Association where she was involved in changing legislation for Nurse Practitioners. She and her husband Lynn have two children, Matt and Heather. They enjoy hiking, traveling and photography.
Chelsea Burchette was born in California and raised in Boulder City, Nevada. She attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she received her undergraduate degree in Education, Athletic Training. She also received Physician Assistant training and a degree in Clinical Health Studies from the University of Washington, Seattle. Chelsea is happily married to her high school sweetheart Joshua, and has two lively sons, Ethan and Dalton. She enjoys hiking and outdoor activities with her family, photography, scrapbooking, and chasing after her boys.
